Evaluation purpose

This explains the purpose of the evaluation.

In order to achieve the basic principles set out in the University Charter, Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology evaluates Faculty Member activities for the following purposes:

■ To promote the revitalization of the university's activities, including education, research, social contribution, International Exchange, and business operations, and to improve the quality of education and research.

■ To utilize it as part of an improvement system for enhancing the quality of education and research, and to improve the overall management of the university.

■The aim is not to rank Faculty Member, but to evaluate their work appropriately and from various perspectives and reflect this in their treatment, etc.

■ Be accountable both within and outside the university.
