Establishment of a whistleblower/consultation desk
Our university has set up a whistleblower hotline to properly handle reports of public interest pursuant to the Whistleblower Protection Act (Act No. 122 of 2004).
If you wish to make a report or seek advice regarding a report, please check the following items before making the report.
1. What is whistleblowing?
(1) University officials and staff
(2) It is not intended to obtain wrongful profits, cause damage to others, or have any other wrongful purpose.
(3) A notice to the effect that a reportable fact has occurred or is about to occur regarding the University or its officers and employees.
(4) Report to the hotline
This is referred to.
2. Persons who may make reports
(1) Employees of the University (including part-time Senior Assistant Professor and part-time employees) or a person who has been an employee within one year prior to the date of such report.
(2) A dispatched worker engaged in the work of the University under a labor dispatch contract, or a person who was a dispatched worker within one year prior to the date of the report.
(3) In cases where the University is engaged in or has been engaged in business based on a contract or other agreement with another business operator, a worker or dispatched worker engaged in such business, or a worker or dispatched worker who was engaged in such business within one year prior to the date of the report.

3. What are the facts to be reported?
This refers to criminal acts or acts subject to fines that violate the applicable laws (and orders thereunder), or acts that ultimately lead to criminal punishment or fines. The applicable laws are those designated by government ordinances such as the Whistleblower Protection Act as "laws related to the protection of the lives, bodies, property, and other interests of the people."
4. Protection of whistleblowers, etc.
Whistleblowers will be protected by the University from dismissal, termination of contract, or other adverse treatment as a result of their reporting.
Please refrain from making false reports, reports that slander others, or reports for the purpose of obtaining any other unfair advantage.
5. How to report
Please download the whistleblowing input form below, fill in the necessary information, and submit your report to the internal or external hotline listed below.
When reporting, please take the following points into consideration:

6. Things to keep in mind
(1) When reporting, please be sure to fill in your name and contact information (email address and phone number) as information about yourself. The University will contact you to confirm the content of the report.
(2) Please clearly and concisely describe the specific contents of your report, including (1) the person you are reporting, (2) the facts that a violation of the law has occurred or is about to occur, and the reasonable reasons why you believe so. If necessary information is insufficient or if we are unable to confirm the facts because you have not provided contact information, it may be difficult to investigate or take corrective action.
(3) When we receive a report, we will consider the necessary measures regarding the report and notify you as to whether or not it constitutes a public interest report based on the facts of the report. If you do not enter your contact information (email address and phone number), the notification may be delayed.
(4) The confidentiality of the report will be protected by the Act on the Protection of Personal Information held by Incorporated Administrative Agency, etc.
