1. Each Faculty Member will use the faculty activity database to compile information on their activities during the evaluation period, prepare a "Faculty Member Activity Evaluation Report," and submit it to the head of their department.

2. The head of the department or division will conduct an evaluation based on the submitted "Faculty Member Activity Evaluation Report."

Evaluation method

A three-level evaluation will be conducted for each area based on the university-wide (predefined) items and special notes. The guidelines are as follows:

S: The performance can be evaluated as excellent based on the content of each evaluation item, etc.

A: Based on the content of each evaluation item, it can be evaluated that the company is achieving the expected results. [Standard value]

B: Based on the content of each evaluation item, there are some performance results that do not meet expectations.

About the item structure

1. In the four areas of education, research, social contribution/ International Exchange, and management/administration, the weighting is 40% for teaching achievements, 40% for research achievements, 10% for social contribution/ International Exchange achievements, and 10% for management/administration/university contribution achievements. However, only those approved by the department head can set different evaluation weights. (If different evaluation weights are set, Organization for Evaluation of Faculty must be notified in advance.)

2. Each area is composed of university-wide (default) items and special notes.

About the slogan

Based on the three-level evaluation for each area and the evaluation weighting, an overall evaluation will be conducted on a five-level scale. The guidelines are as follows:
