Shinjuku Gyoen co-hosted project

The national university corporation Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology was born on the site of the current Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden.
In 1874 (Meiji 7), Agricultural Training School and Sericulture Experiment Section were placed in Ministry of Home Affairs Industrial Promotion Board Naito-Shinjuku Branch, which are the roots of Faculty of Agriculture and Faculty of Engineering, respectively.
As Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology celebrates its 150th anniversary in 2024, we held a joint event with Shinjuku Gyoen, the place of its founding.
