Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology 150 Year Anniversary Commemoration
- Toward 150 Years of Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology's Brilliant - TUAT 150

In April 1874 (Meiji 7), the Agricultural Training School placed in Ministry of Home Affairs Industrial Promotion Board Naito-Shinjuku Branch was the beginning of the Faculty of Agriculture of our university.
Also in April 1874, the Sericulture Experiment Section established in Ministry of Home Affairs Industrial Promotion Board Naito-Shinjuku Branch became the Faculty of Engineering of the University.
Faculty of Agriculture and Faculty of Engineering Since the roots of Agricultural Training School and Sericulture Experiment Section were established in 1874, the university considers 1874 to be the year of its founding.
In 2024, we will celebrate the 150th anniversary of the founding of the Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology Foundation and carry out various initiatives for the 150th anniversary of the founding of the foundation.
