Institute of Global Innovation Research

Institute of Global Innovation Research was established in June 2014 as the Global Innovation Research Organization, and was reorganized as a new graduate school research organization in April 2016. It promotes research mainly in the fields of "food," "energy," and "life sciences," which are designated as priority fields by the university, and aims to strengthen the university's research capabilities as a cutting-edge research hub that continuously produces cutting-edge research results, as well as to foster young researchers, people who will lead the strengthening of research capabilities, and people who will be active internationally.
In this graduate school, we hire and invite well-known foreign researchers who are active at the forefront of the world in each priority field, organize strategic research teams with Faculty Member with excellent research capabilities at our university, and build a system that can conduct cutting-edge research as a research special zone, aiming to implement international joint research and dramatically increase the number of internationally co-authored papers.In addition, by introducing a tenure track and career challenge system, we are promoting efforts to develop young human resources by providing opportunities for young researchers to take on cutting-edge research and expanding the areas in which they can be active.
