Regarding the issuance of certificates that are not subject to fees (e.g. certificate of withdrawal)

Regarding types of certificates and number of days required for issuance

The number of days required after receipt varies depending on the situation, but is approximately as follows.

  Enrolled students from 2000 (H12) onwards Enrolled before 1999 (H11)

(Note 1) Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, summer holidays (mid-August), and year-end and New Year holidays are excluded from the required number of days.
(Note 2) Even if you apply directly at the counter, it cannot be issued on the same day.

Regarding the number of certificates issued and where to submit them

A maximum of 10 copies will be accepted per application.
Also, please be sure to fill in the purpose of use and submission destination.

Regarding issuance fees and shipping charges

There is no charge for issuing the certificate.
If you wish to return the item by post, please pay only the shipping cost. (Please see "How to receive" below)

Regarding change of name, name change, etc.

If your name, etc. is different from when you graduated, completed or withdrew, and you wish to be issued with your current name, etc., you will need to change or correct your student register.
When applying for a certificate, please sign and seal the surname/name change notification, and submit a document that can confirm the fact of the surname/name change (excerpt from family register issued within 3 months, remarks section (copy) on the back of driver's license, or name on pension handbook). Please submit it along with any changes (copies).
If you wish to remain as you were when you graduated, there is no need to complete any formalities, but please present a document linking your maiden name and current name (remarks column on the back of your driver's license, name change column in your pension handbook, etc.) to confirm your identity. .
