IAESTE Internship

The IAESTE Internship offers students the opportunity to engage directly in technical development and research projects at overseas companies or universities. Through this experience, participants can develop teamwork and responsibility, while enhancing their knowledge, technical skills, and language abilities.

Unlike regular study abroad programs, interns receive a stipend that covers living expenses during their stay, making it possible to undertake overseas training at a relatively low cost. Additionally, participants can use their days off for travel and sightseeing, and have the chance to build close relationships with local students as well as motivated interns from around the world.

During the internship, participants also receive support from local IAESTE committee members. Around November each year, a certification exam is held to select candidates for the internship program. Successful applicants typically undertake a 2- to 3-month internship at overseas universities or companies during the following summer break.
