It is awarded to the author of papers published in the Journal of the Japanese Society of Veterinary Nursing, which are recognized as having made a significant contribution to the future development of animal nursing.
This paper conducted a survey targeting owners regarding the identification of cats kept entirely indoors, and examined methods for raising awareness about identity display from the perspective of pet pet nurses. As a result, the importance of combining multiple identification indicators (microchip, collar + lost tag), and the need for pet animal nurses to actively provide information, were demonstrated.
