This award is given to presentations by young researchers and students that are deemed to be particularly outstanding in terms of originality, logical structure, and presentation skills.
At the 261st Annual Meeting of the Crop Science Society of Japan, I presented the research results from the J-PEAKS Hawaii project. In this presentation, I compared and evaluated the yield and quality characteristics of Japanese rice varieties grown as upland rice in the different environments of Hawaii and Japan.
