• Overview of the award
This award is given to those who present research papers that demonstrate outstanding originality and ingenuity at the 16th Micro- and Nano-Engineering Symposium.
Regarding the award for ①: We conducted research to gain insights into acoustic genetics, which uses ultrasound to control cell function. In particular, we focused on and investigated gene transfer using cationic lipids.
Regarding the award for ②: We generated microgel particles from an ultra-high viscosity pregel solution by incorporating ultrasound into centrifugation. In this study, we focused particularly on the vibration waveform and investigated its effects.
