Courtesy visit by the Estonian Minister of Regional Affairs and Agriculture

On Wednesday, March 11, the following representatives from the Republic of Estonia paid a courtesy visit to our university: H.E. Mr. Hendrik Johannes Terras, Minister of Regional Affairs and Agriculture of the Republic of Estonia; H.E. Mr. Andres Unga – Ambassador-Designate of the Republic of Estonia to Japan; Mr. Tõnis Tänav, Deputy Secretary General for Innovation and Strategy, Ministry of Regional Affairs and Agriculture; Ms. Marta Juhkami, Adviser to the Minister, Ministry of Regional Affairs and Agriculture; Mr. Indrek Erikson, Councellor, Embassy of Estonia in Tokyo; and Mr. Aavo Sõrmus , Chairman of the Supervisory Board, TFTAK.
Dr. Tsutomu Arie, Trustee for Global Strategies; Dr. Nobufumi Nakamura, Special Mission Trustee; Dr. Naoko Otsu, Vice-President for International Affairs; Dr. Hirotaka Saito, Dean of Faculty of Agriculture; and Dr. Ryoko Kawabata, Professor of Graduate School of Agriculture participated in the exchange of opinions on agricultural production, policy-related and food nutrition-related issues, and farmer support.
It is expected that this courtesy visit will lead to further development of exchanges between our university and Estonia.
