Naming rights contract signed with Sky Corporation; naming ceremony held

Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology signed a naming rights business agreement with Sky Co., Ltd. and held a naming ceremony at the cafeteria of the Koganei Campus Faculty of Engineering General Hall (hereinafter referred to as the "Facility"), to which the naming rights were granted by this agreement on September 2.
The ceremony was attended by Kazuya Harano, Director of Sky Co., Ltd., Yusuke Maekawa, Sales Department Director of the ICT Solution Division, Nobufumi Nakamura Special Mission Trustee Director General, Masafumi Hirano, Institute of Engineering President, Graduate School of Engineering, and Faculty of Engineering from TUF, and Shinya Kajita, Graduate School of Bio-Applications and Systems Engineering and Graduate School of Advanced Interdisciplinary Science from TUFS.
This is the second case of a naming rights agreement at our university and the first facility on the Koganei Campus. The contract period is three years, from September 1, 2025 to August 31, 2028. This facility has a cafeteria and study space operated by the Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology Consumer Cooperative, and is crowded with many students during lunchtime.
Sky Co., Ltd., the naming rights holder, is a software development company that aims to connect people, society, and technology to create a rich information society. In cooperation with Sky Co., Ltd., we will strive to make the nicknames "Sky Cafeteria" and "Sky E-Lounge" familiar and established among many students, and will work to improve the educational and research environment by utilizing naming rights fees.
