[Consortium] Long-term internship for innovation creators in 2019
We have closed the recruitment as we have reached the capacity.

The project to build a consortium for developing human resources in science and technology (next-generation researcher development program) aims to develop excellent human resources who can innovate technology, create new industries, and propose social policies. It implements educational programs that reflect the social needs of industry and other sectors, and dispatches doctoral students and postdoctoral researchers with advanced expertise to long-term internships at companies, research institutes, etc., both in Japan and overseas.

■ Recruitment target
Those who meet any of the following conditions:
・Doctoral students (excluding master's programs) enrolled at the University as of April 1, 2019, and researchers with a tenure of 10 years or less after obtaining a doctoral degree
・Those who are able to engage in internships at domestic and overseas companies ・ Internships at research institutes for more than 2 consecutive months (until April 1, 2019 ~ January 31, 2020 (strict adherence))

■Number of applicants: 8 (Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology)

■ Additional recruitment: 1 to 2 people

■ Place of assignment
Domestic and international companies, educational and research institutions, universities (in principle, domestic universities are excluded), Incorporated Administrative Agency, public institutions, non-profit organizations, international organizations, etc.
*As a general rule, dispatched workers will be required to negotiate with their host company themselves.

■ Dispatch period: 2 months or more

■Application period: Friday, February 15, 2019 - Ended
* Selection will be conducted on an ongoing basis, and applications will close when the maximum number of applicants is reached within the application period.

■ Salary
　・Payment will be made according to the number of hours worked, with a maximum of 150,000 yen monthly amount (up to 4 hours per day, 5 days per week, and a maximum of 3 months).
Those who are receiving scholarships of 100,000 yen or more monthly amount from our university or other institutions will not be eligible for the payment of the salary.

 
■ Dispatch costs
① Travel expenses (airplane, train, etc.) will be reimbursed at actual cost.
②Accommodation expenses will be paid in accordance with our university’s travel expenses regulations.
However, those who are receiving scholarships from our university or other institutions will have their living expenses capped at 100,000 yen monthly amount.
③The total amount of ① and ② is 90 million yen is the upper limit.
