Call for participants for the H30 Doctor Visionary Promotion [Closed]

Innovation Advancement Organization aims to cultivate doctoral-level innovation leaders who will revitalize science and technology innovation in Japan, create value based on the results of university research and development, and promote the creation of new businesses. The organization will implement a program to teach participants the know-how to utilize their own research seeds to benefit society.

The unique feature of this program is that while attending a basic course starting in May, students will form teams in June and, under the guidance of mentors, will work on practically formulating business plans. The teams will present their plans at the Science and Technology Ecosystem Forum in September, and an external panel of experts in various fields will select the teams to be sent for overseas training. The selected teams will aim to create business plans that are novel, feasible, and have a high social impact, and will receive training overseas to create new value.

■ Target applicants: Undergraduate and master's students, doctoral students, postdoctoral researchers, and working adults enrolled in Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology and Technology, the University of Electro-Communications, and Tokyo University of Foreign Studies who are considering continuing on to doctoral courses.
*If you are a working adult and would like to take this course, please contact us as it will be on a group basis.

■ Course fee: Free
*Travel expenses for domestic and overseas training that includes accommodation will be paid in accordance with TUAT 's travel expenses regulations.

■Application period: Thursday, April 26, 2018 - Friday, June 15, 2018 17:00 Deadline

*This is not a program for overseas training. Please understand the outline and purpose of the program before filling out the application form.
2. Submit the application to the Innovation Advancement Organization office (by deadline)
