We held the welcome party at FOLES Farm near cowshed on May 12, 2012 and enjoyed Noukoudai-Udon with various kinds of vegetables and cake for dessert. The participants in the party were 41 persons including staff. We started from Director Takada’s welcome speech and introduced by ourselves while we ate. At the end we planted various kinds of vegetables sets on our farm. I felt very good harmony of nature, agriculture and environment on that day. (KY)

-FOLENS EVENT
21st, May, 2012: Observing The Annular Eclipse It is The Annular Eclipse this morning. Weather forecast says it will be cloudy and sometimes sunny. The weather chart shows stationary front in the pacific, on south of Japan. So I was anxious on the weather condition. At 5:00 AM, it is nice sky. However at 6:30, on the way to TUAT, gray cloud grew up from south-east sky. Is this bad news? Or good news, indicating that it will be nice later?(HO) Read more and see the pictures: http://www.tuat.ac.jp/~folens/report/report22_e.html
