Development of Predictive Braking Assistance System Based on Rear-End Collision Risk Potential
追突事故の防止を目指し，本研究では「追突の危険に近づかせない支援」をコンセプトに，追突の危険を予測した支援システムの開発を行っております．提案するシステムは，先行車との間に取り付けられた仮想ばねのポテンシャルエネルギーに基づき，自車にブレーキ支援を行います．
RESEARCH ABSTRACT
This research proposes a brake assistance algorithm which considers the potential risk of rear-end collision, and advance the braking assistance for dealing with situations when a forward vehicle decelerates suddenly. The proposed braking assistance system is designed based on the concept of virtual spring connected between the host vehicle and the forward vehicle.
