Objectives
Building on the collaborative experiences nourished between TUAT and its partner institutions both in Japan and abroad through TUAT’s “Education Program of IT Engineers for Advanced Manufacturing” under the scheme of “Career Development Program for Foreign Student in Japan” jointly-supported by METI and MEXT of Japan, TUAT is pleased to organize an international symposium on the “Asian Program,” with special focus on the following two points: 1) promoting students’ mobility in Asian higher education; and 2) fostering global human resources through education in “IT engineering for advanced manufacturing.”
The chief objectives of the symposium are to gather professionals and experts in higher education as well as in IT (and its related fields) from Asian countries: from government, academia and industry; to share ideas, good practice, knowledge, information and insight leading towards stronger partnerships between participating individuals/institutions as well as a better understanding of the Asian Program.
