Short-Term Exchange Program in Science and Engineering at TUAT (STEP)
Purpose
The Short-Term Exchange Program in Science and Engineering (STEP) offers courses in the specialized fields of science and engineering, as well as in technical Japanese and Japanese culture. The program aims to develop human resources around the globe in various fields who understand the Japanese society and to raise the level of international understanding and international competitiveness among TUATs Japanese students by stimulating exchange between the universitys international and Japanese students.
To expand the short-term study abroad opportunities for international students in the fields of science and engineering, we are taking advantage of our focus on those fields to offer both practical and research-oriented education in various fields of specialization in English. At the same time, we offer a practical curriculum designed for a short-term exchange program in science and engineering that incorporates technical Japanese courses, a special feature of TUAT.
