The TUAT Task Force for Kabul University Support
(for Afghanistan Rebuilding)

First Afghanistan Seminar

An Afghanistan Seminar will be held to introduce people to Afghan history and culture and to report the results of on-site observations conducted by the TUAT Task Force for Kabul University Support.

Date and time: January 22, 2003 (Wed.), 4:30 – 6:00 p.m.
Location: Faculty of Agriculture, Bldg. 2, 2F, Rm. 2-21

4:30 – 5:00 p.m. The History and Culture of Afghanistan Tomoko Kubota, 4th Year Student of Veterinary Science
5:00 – 6:00 p.m. Current Status of Kabul University and Support Provided by TUAT Kiyoshi Shimada, Task Force for Kabul University Support
A bare lab lacks even a single microscope.
Experiments and practical exercises are impossible, so classes consist only of lectures.
