Graduate School of Technology Management (established April 2005)
Cover Partial "Introduction to the Organization of the Graduate School"
Technology Risk Management Department is the professional graduate school
established in 2005 in the Graduate School of Technology Management as
a two-year master's course program
This graduate school program is intended to meet the social need for technology managers who go beyond the framework of conventional technicians and have a full understanding of technology risk management in each stage of business, from the start-up phase to commercialization. The program aims to develop human resources that can use and develop advanced technologies to start a business while minimizing technology risks, that is, to develop "smart businesspeople" who can exercise outstanding corporate governance.
The staff in this department include TUAT professors with extensive experience in government-academia partnerships, as well as numerous former businesspeople with a wealth of experience in corporate management and actual technology development. The coursework requires project research with practical content (internships, field studies, case studies, business plans).
Classes are held weekday evenings and Saturdays at a downtown facility (the Tamachi Classroom), or through distance learning to enable working businesspeople to take advantage of this program.
