The Graduate School of Engineering has produced excellent human resources for society since its establishment in 1966 as the master's course program in the Graduate School of Engineering. The doctoral course for engineering, which consists of three departments, was established in 1989. The Graduate School was further restructured to include six departments: Biotechnology and Life Science, Applied Chemistry, Mechanical Systems Engineering, Applied Physics, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and Computer, Information and Communication Sciences. The Graduate School was restructured in 2004 and began as the new Graduate School of Engineering.
The Graduate School of Engineering provides excellent research environment with faculty members involved with original and state-of-the-art research in the latest research facilities. The Graduate School endeavors to provide the most up-to-date education and original research. As a result, the Graduate School of Engineering has educated 5,361 masters and 390 doctors to date, and 847 students are currently studying. The Graduate School of Engineering also has sponsored courses (marked with the symbol**), joint research courses (marked with the symbol*), and doctorate courses for corporate employees (brush-up courses) in order to meet the expectations of society.
