2004 Transformed to National University Corporation Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology.
2004 Graduate Courses (Agricultural Science, Engineering, and Bio-Applications and Systems Engineering) restructured to form the Research Department of Symbiotic Science and Technology (research organization) and Academic Department of Agriculture, Academic Department of Engineering and Academic Department of Bio-Applications and Systems Engineering (academic organizations)
2005 Graduate School of Technology Management (Master’s Course) established.
2006 Research Department renamed Research Institute (research organization) and Academic Departments renamed Graduate School of Engineering, Graduate School of Agriculture and Graduate School of Bio-Applications and Systems Engineering (academic organizations)
2010 The Institute of Symbiotic Science and Technology was reorganized into the Institute of Agriculture and the Institute of Engineering.
2011 The Graduate School of Technology Management (professional degree program) was reorganized and restructured as the Department of Industrial Technology (professional degree program) at the Graduate School of Engineering.
2016 Institute of Global Innovation Research (research organization) established.
