International Center Overview

International Center promotes international exchange project planning and implementation to support TUAT international exchange. Further it aims to train human resources with expansive understanding who are able to work on the international front.

International Symposium "Japanese Language and Culture in theGlobal Communities"

NOTICE  International Center International Symposium" Japanese Language and Culture in the Global Communities" <Japanese to English simultaneous interpretation will be available.>

The following are details for the International Symposium "Japanese Language and Culture in the Global Communities" being held by the International Center at TUAT. Anyone is welcome to participate, and we encourage all who are interested to attend. Please share this information with anyone whom this lecture may concern.

■ Purpose
In this symposium, we ask experts to share their opinions on what type of influence Japanese language and culture are making in the world, and the significance of Japanese language and culture within the global communities of Japan. There will also be a discussion on the level of Japanese language and Japanese cultural knowledge that is required for a person to excel in the science and technology fields within global communities. We will also explore our focus for the future.

Lecture on Protection from Natural Disasters for International Students

 The following are details for a special lecture for international students concerning protection from natural disasters being held by the International Center at TUAT. Although the lecture is targeted at international students, anyone is welcome to participate, and we encourage all who are interested to attend. Please share this information with anyone whom this lecture may concern.

■ Purpose
 The purpose of this lecture is to increase the awareness, knowledge, and preparedness concerning natural disasters to international students, who otherwise may not have access to adequate information regarding measures to take in times of emergency in Japan, including basic steps for protecting oneself in earthquakes, fires, and other natural disasters.

■ For all international students at TUAT, foreign researchers, and anyone else interested
