Center of Education for Leaders in Environmental Sectors
The Center of Education for Leaders in Environmental Sectors is the organization set up to operate the “Education Program for Field-Oriented Leaders in Environmental Sectors in Asia and Africa (FOLENS)”, initiated when the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) “Strategic Program for Fostering Environmental Leaders” under the Special Coordination Funds for Promoting Science and Technology was adopted in 2009.
The “Education Program for Field-Oriented Leaders in Environmental Sectors in Asia and Africa” (FOLENS) is a new educational program aimed at creating leaders in the environmental sectors in Asia and Africa for the future.
The aim of this program is to train field-oriented leaders in environmental sectors in Asia and Africa; and TUAT offers the “Education Program for Field-Oriented Leaders in Environmental Sectors in Asia and Africa” (FOLENS) to students enrolled in any major course in a TUAT Graduate School.
This program provides settings for practical training opportunities including lectures, first-hand experience, and internships in a broad range of fields, whilst the presence of students from various countries allows for a broad international perspective. All lectures are offered in English. Overseas bases are located in Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam and Ghana.
“Associate Professor” and “Professor” Position Openings
The Center of Education for Leaders in Environmental Sectors is taking applications for associate professor positons (in environmental engineering-related or other related fields) and professor positons (in environmental sensing and analysis or other related fields).
