Also, a great number of professors are renowned in their fields and bring in many grants from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology; the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries; the Ministry of Economy and Industries; and private enterprises. As a result, the research budget per professor is among the highest in Japan.

The institutions comprising the graduate programs consists of Graduate School of Agriculture(Master course), Graduate School of Technology (Master course and Doctoral course)and three other unique and independent graduate Schools: Graduate School of Bio-Applications and Systems Engineering(BASE) of TUAT(Master course and Doctoral course), the United Graduate School of Agricultural Science of TUAT(Doctoral course)in association with the Universities of Ibaraki and Utsunomiya, and the United Graduate School of Veterinary Sciences of Gifu University in cooperated with Obihiro University, Iwate University and our University. More than fifty percent of our graduates go on to these graduate schools to pursue and discover the essence of knowledge through practical research. In addition, many people who have been previously engaged in private enterprise enter these graduate schools to explore new fields of study.

The cumpuses are located within thirty-minutes of Shinjuku, a central transportation hub in Tokyo. The Faculty of Agriculture is in Fuchu, and the Faculty of Technology is situated in Koganei. Both campuses offer students an enjoyable college life in a quiet environment full of beautiful greenery.

Owing to past graduates' exceptional performance in their places of employment, career placement possibilities are very promising and range from working in government and municipal offices to private enterprise.
