Curriculum of the Graduate School of Technology

1. Master's Course
In the Master's Course program, students are encouraged to acquire a good knowl-edge of the specialized field through a research for the master's thesis, other special researches, special experiment,s and seminars. At least 30 credits including the above subjects are requirements for the Master's Degree.
Students who gain at least 30 credits in the first year and get the excellent results of researches can skip the second year to go on to the Doctoral Course.
Subjects of each major are as follows:
- Chemical and Biological Science and Technology
- Mechanical Systems Engineering
- Electronic and Information Engineering
2. Second Three-Year Postgraduate (Doctor's) Course
The second postgraduate course offers research oriented programs leading to the Doctor Degree of Engineering under academic advisers.
This course also offers ¡Èspecial programs" by other teaching staff, designed to provide interdisciplinary knowledge.
The minimum course requirement is 12 credits of lectures plus the major.
In addition, this course offers superior students the opportunity to be a candidate for a doctor's degree and to finish the course by the second year, if they can meet the minimum course requirement and have superior attainment and accomplishment during the first two years.
